THE TIMELINE

Let's Take An Adventure Together

FIRST STOP ON OUR ADVENTURE

1970s - 1980s

My health-focused mom was always experimenting in the kitchen, one night it was “nut burgers”.... Luckily, those didn’t stick but the healthy lifestyle did. Thanks, mom! I also got my first mountain bike in 1984, and I rode it so much that I broke the bike! This is where my love of adventure began.

OUR SECOND STOP: BREAKTHROUGH

2000s

As a science teacher, I fell in love with “kitchen chemistry”. I went wheat and dairy free at this time, and had to get creative with snacks. Starting with granola...

THIRD STOP ON OUR ADVENTURE

2013

I shared my granola with friends and they told me to sell it! So I did, at local markets in ziploc bags with a label on it...People loved it! But something was calling me...

OUR FOURTH STOP: LIFE-CHANGING

2014

My childhood best friend Erin Parker discovers my company and tells me that it could be big! But sadly passed away. Soon after I thought, “what if I ventured to a different snack?”. Like chocolate, and decided to have her initials on the label, “EPK”.

We Made It!

OUR LAST STOP: WE'RE HERE

2014-TODAY

I invested heavily in tempering chocolate skills (don’t ask about my failures), and started making the friendly foods you know and love today. Carrying my moms healthy values, and Erin’s dreams with me. Making friendly food for people like you.

Wait There's More?

MY LATEST ADVENTURE

JULY 2025

I’m biking through Salmon River area! If you can catch up to me, I might (probably) tell you my next friendly idea.
